Super 8 by Wyndham Hidalgo at La Plaza Mall & Mcallen Airport

Best of all was the price per night, room was clean, no noise at all at night.

I have been staying here for the past several visits to Hidalgo. My son lives a couple of miles from the hotel and it it a perfect venue.

Quiet area ,next to Payne Arena which had Graduation ceremonies all Memorial Day weekend ,Bed is awesome , Great size TV and channel selection, good hot water shower and pool is nice . We had the kitchen and I bring a skillet and a small pan and a couple of utensils,paper plates and enjoy cooking a couple of meals and reheating all the leftovers from going out to eat with all the restaurants and Mall a short drive past the airport into the busy noisy downtown . Took some furniture to Reynosa to a family friend and overnight the furniture was safe in the well lit and camera secure parking area

The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and smelled fresh. The bed was comfortable and made it easy to get a good night sleep. It was very quiet and I felt safe. I will definitely choose this hotel again if my work brings me this way again. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Gilbert, the desk manager, helped me with an upgrade to a room with a jacuzzi - something that my wife really appreciated, having recently been in an accident in which her back was severely injured. This hotel keeps improving, and getting better. It's always been really clean, and it seems like they are "upping their game." Very much appreciated! A great value for anyone that wants to stay really close to the Mexican border in the US. Also, there was coffee available at 4AM! What a GREAT thing!
